North Oldham Fire Department serves a district of 47 square miles and includes the communities of Prospect, Goshen and Skylight in Oldham County Kentucky (approximately 15 miles northeast of Louisville, KY).   The district consists mainly of residential areas, horse farms and stables, some light commercial and industry and also includes 12 miles of the Ohio River.  The district is experiencing rapid growth.
