Training FireVolunteer firefighters are community minded people. They have full-time jobs in which they work as attorneys, accountants, managers, stay-at-home moms/dads, nurses, teachers, stock brokers, and students.

If you can dedicate two to four hours per week for training then you have the time it takes to serve your community as a volunteer Fire Fighter and/or Emergency Medical Technician. We may also consider non-traditional volunteers to work on public relations, planned giving, finance, law, etc.

If you are not yet 18, please visit our Explorer page where you can sign up to get a head start on becoming a firefighter.

For more information, please provide the following contact information. This allows us to tell you more about North Oldham Fire Department and contact you about joining
our team. You can also call 228-1447, or just stop by either Station on a Wednesday night around 7:30..
